Moving my Blog I have decided to move my blog from this platform, namely Blogger by Google. It has become somewhat restrictive and I did try Adobe Spark but it does not allow comments. I started this blog in April 2010, the 12 years have flown by and I now move into bigger and better pastures. Number 17

This has been a busy last 10 days. Michael’s birthday came around again, seems that after Christmas the birthdays just keep coming. It is a pity for those who are celebrating, most of us have maxed out our finances and the gift are consequently simple. Saying that he did get a watch from Kate and a helmet from us. I am sure there were others but for the life of me, I do not seem to remember. You will be pleased to know we had the traditional birthday breakfast, this time at Walford Mill. Well traditional in the sense of going somewhere for breakfast. The actual food was far from traditional, We all had breakfast wraps, very tasty. Kate had smashed avocado on sourdough toast with a poached egg decorating the top, also looked tasty. Being Kate she had a few mouthfuls and gave the rest to Michael, she is watching her weight in preparation for, you guessed it, the famous wedding dress. The Winds of Change

Gary will be here within a few days, new chapter in his life will start with a school run I suspect. Better to hit the ground running I always say. Robert has started his internship and we can only hope he enjoys life in the real world, well almost, he is working at the university. The other big news is the Dickens are planning a trip to the UK next year. Must be the attraction of the middle smiths that brings them hot footed over at such short notice. Seriously it will be the most amazing experience to meet all those little dickens, who I know only through photos. Names spring to mind, like Benjamin, Lilly, David, will be wonderful to be calling them to keep up, walking around Corfe Castle. Must admit, just to hug my favourite daughter, is the icing on the cake. Daniel starts his first day at his new school today, hopefully that went well. Always difficult being a new boy in the class.
