Is what we see real?

Breakfast at the Sandbanks Beach Cafe.
This being the longest day, summertime soltise, the day the weird people gather at Stone Henge to celebrate the Druids and what ever else they do. 6 people detained for drug related offences, a little high always help communication with the Druids, I suppose, having never partaken in that kind of conversation. More a Granny June type experience, she always claimed there were fairies at the bottom of her garden.
It is 25 years that Susan and I have been together, does not feel that long but then times flys when you having fun. We never really count these type of events, content to just meander on our journey together, but a quarter of a century is worth a small mention.
We were hoping to sit outside but the weather beat us and it was a inside table we picked. Not for long, the sun came out and we found ourselves sitting in the sunshine, admiring the stout Brits with bathing suits, braving the inclement weather.
I must admit to a slight concern I have about my very self. Susan and I were at a do and I happened to see something that concerned me deeply, nasty stuff really, a few very prominent people are in jail for just that. I did need a bit of time to digest what I had seen and also what had transpired a week or two ago. The trigger in fact sets the whole thought process in motion but that seems to be the problem. I believe I did not actually see it. So there lies the quandary.
Maybe that old expression,
'Let sleeping dogs lie.'
At my age anything is possible, seeing things is as easy as seeing fairies at the bottom of the of the garden, it just makes me wonder?
Out, out damn thoughts, I banish you to literary abyss. In another story, others will be effected or not, do we care?
